Jessica will be personally giving $9,000 to 40 women to cover their living expenses while they take the full time 15 week Lambda School Summers Hackers Program.

Lambda School will be waiving the normal $12,000 tuition fee for this program for all 40 women.

Do I have to come to San Francisco to participate?

No. Like all the Lambda School courses, the Summer Hackers Program is an on-line, remote course.

When and where will the program run?

To encourage undergraduates to also participate, the course is designed to fit within most colleges' summer breaks.

It will run from May 28th to September 3rd.

Do you have to be a founder to apply?

No - because of her experience as the co-founder of Y Combinator, Jessica is motivated to invest in these women alongside Lambda School - she believes that helping more women have a greater technical fluency will help them become, and then succeed, as founders.

But the program is open to all women in the US.
